"The Jager Journal" is a good, fast moving "read". It's action and suspense hold your attention and make the story hard to put down. Dr. Anderson's anatomical and medical knowledge come through in several incidents, heightening the realism of the accounts. As someone who grew up during the "wind-down" of WW II and the Nuremberg trials, I vaguely remember hearing accounts of mistreatment of the POWS and the Jewish people. Dr. Anderson's book "slips right in" with those memories and brings them into today's world. 1/23/2015 10:32:26 pm

I've heard of "cliffhangers", but THE JAGER JOURNAL left my husband and me hanging by our fingernails from the top of Mt. Everest, not just from a mere "cliff"! The bad thing is--having to wait for the NEXT book. I'll re-read JAGER right before I read the new novel. So glad it came out in paperback so I could quickly page back & forth figuring it all out. The "Cast of the Characters" at the beginning was a big help, too. If you want to read a well-researched, "can't wait to get to the end" suspense novel, buy it now!
